PACCT (Parents and Children as Co-Travelers in a World of Ideas) Challenger
Learning Centers, working with local partners, are changing the way families learn, live and work together and how they use math, science and technology. Programs include: Visit The Future -- Families work with a practicing scientist, engineer, etc. and take on the career role to tackle a problem in that field as a team. Discovery Missions -- Problem solving scenarios which culminate with a mission for a family team (one parent & one child).
Lunar Challenger – offers open-minded design problems for families to tackle as they create physical models for future moon and planetary habitats. Crew Training -- family teamwork simulations are available for students to do at home to prepare for their upcoming school mission. | ||
